The Escanaba Eskymos were first to bat and the Marquette Redmen sent them to the dugout with a 1,2,3, but were unable to score any runs of their own in the first inning. The Escanaba Eskymos were first to score a run in the game with a single RBI hit in the top of the second inning, to lead 1-0 against the Redmen.
Entering the fifth inning the Marquette Redmen still trailed the Escanaba Eskymos, but the Redmen were able to limit the damage to the one run scored in the second inning. The Marquette Redmen were able to hit in a run late in the bottom of the 6th inning to tie the game 1-1.
The Escanaba Eskymos were quick to answer back in the top of the seventh inning and regained the lead from the Marquette Redmen, scoring two runs to advance to a 3-1 lead.
The game ended with the Redmen falling to the Eskymos 3-1 on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 & 99.9FM.
