Gwinn ModelTowner Boys basketball defeated the Superior Central Cougars on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 and 99.9

Superior Central, Michigan– 12/29/15– The Gwinn ModelTowner Boys basketball traveled to Superior Central to take on the Cougars. It was a fast paced game! The ModelTowners played great this game and got their first win of the season. Mike James brought you all of the in-game action on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 and 99.9. The first quarter of the game went by pretty quick as both teams were almost equally matched. The ModelTowner guys got the first points of the game as Tucker Taylor rebounded followed by Theo Reddlan making it right off the glass and in the hoop. 21-13 was the score, in favor of the ModelTowners, at the end of the first quarter. The second quarter, the Cougars were starting to catch up . Austin Forbes, of the ModelTowners, was great with his multiple shot the second quarter that were up and in, giving the ModelTowners a strong lead. 36-25 was the score at the end of the second quarter with the Superior Central Cougars trailing our ModelTowners.

The second half of the game went even better than the first half. 45-36 was the score at the end of the third quarter with out ModelTowners leading the Cougars. The fourth quarter was filled with three pointers made by Jordan Stein, from Gwinn.
