Gwinn, Michigan– 12/22/15– The Gwinn ModelTowner Boys basketball took on the Negaunee Miners this Tuesday Evening. Both teams started off with a surplus of energy but only one of the teams took the win. Mike James brought you all of the in-game action on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 and 99.9. The first half of the game went by pretty quick as both teams started off neck in neck. The Miners picked up the pace and started to take the lead towards the end of the first quarter. Jordan Stein of the ModelTowners scored the
first three pointer of the evening and the first points for Gwinn followed up by another three pointer. The first quarter ended with a score of 8-21 with the Negaunee Miners in the lead. The second quarter ended with a score of 11-41 with the Miners still in the lead at half time.
The second half of the game was controlled mostly by the Miners. The third quarter ended with a score of 25-53 and the final score ended 32-63 as the ModelTowners trailed the Miners for the rest of the game.
