Marquette, MI – Colton Sissons had a hat trick to lead the Nashville Predators to a 6-3 series clinching victory over the Anaheim Ducks. The Nashville Predators after 19 years of existence are going to the Stanley Cup Finals where they await the winner of the Ottawa Senators and Pittsburgh Penguins series. Anaheim has now lost two of the past three conference finals.
The Golden State Warriors are officially on their way to the NBA Finals for a third straight year in a row defeating the San Antonio Spurs 129-115 on Monday night, sweeping the series four game to nothing. Golden State were up by as many as 22 points and were led by captain Stephen Curry who added 36 points. Golden State now awaits the winner of the Easter Conference Finals between the Boston Celtics and the Cleveland Cavilers.
Marquette Senior High School Athletic Director Alex Tiseo stopped in this morning to bring us up to date on Marquette Athletics and upgrades to the high school. Alex Tiseo officially took over for former Athletic Director Blaise Zimmer last week. The upgrades to the school will hopefully be completed by the start of the 2017-2018 school year.
