Marquette, MI – 9/13/17 – The Cleveland Indians tied the 2002 “Moneyball” Oakland Athletics with their 20th straight win over the Detroit Tigers 2-0 on Tuesday night. Cleveland streak began on august 24th in Boston, the current streak is the second longest in 82 years. The record is held by the Chicago Cubs who had a 21 game win streak a long time ago. The Indians will go for victory number 21 in a row this afternoon when they send Mike Clevinger to the bump to face Tigers righty Buck Farmer, the game will start at 1:05 pm.

The Michigan Wolverines have agreed to be chronicled this season in an Amazon Documentary. Michigan and Amazon is partnering with the Big Ten Network for the documentary. The NFL opened up its Hall of Fame list for 2017. The headliners are Randy Moss, Ray Lewis and Brian Urlacher, all are among the 11 first year eligible players. Other players include Ronde Barber, Donald Driver, Steve Huchinson, Matt Birk, Jeff Saturday, Richard Seymour and Kyle Vanden Bosch. The finalists will be voted on in January.
