Marquette, MI – 9/14/17 – Join the Negaunee Miners on Friday, September 15th for their home game against the Iron Mountain Mountaineers for the Miners Tailgate. There will be kinds games, lots of prizes, hot dogs and pop donated by Super One of Negaunee. The halftime show will have four lucky people getting a chance to win a 2017 Chevy Silverado. All the proceeds will be donated to the Negaunee Booster Club. The time of the event begins at 5 pm.
Marquette Redmen head football coach Dave L’Huillier stopped by this morning to talk about the big win over Sault Ste Marie last Friday 31-7. He went over the run game thats been strong and the defense anchored by Greyson Anthos. Coach talked about first year quarterback Brendan Kaski and how he’s settled into his leadership role. Coach previewed the upcoming match-up with the Escanaba Eskymos this Friday in Escanaba.
