Marquette, MI – February 15th, 2022 – The Marquette Redmen basketball squad continued its season this evening, with a contest against the Houghton Gremlins. The game was broadcasted on 97.5 GTO.
1Q: Marquette won the tip to begin the ball game, as David Eberhard buried a triple to get things started. The Gremlins were also able to score on their first possession of the game, as Kyle Primeau banked a layup off the glass. After a stale few minutes from both teams, Jordan DeMay and the Redmen flipped the switch. DeMay scored six points in less than a minute as Jonas Bicik added a few of his own, Marquette quickly led 17-5. After a back and forth affair in the final minutes, the Redmen led 25-14 after one.
