Redettes Varsity Basketball Heads to Petoskey for Weekend Tournament While Redmen Varsity Hockey Takes on Hornets at Home

Marquette, MI  –  12/06/2019  –  Tonight will be full of your favorite Marquette sports. The Marquette Girl’s Basketball team will be heading over the bridge to Petoskey to play against the Brighton Bulldogs in their first game of the tournament weekend starting at 5:30pm. The Marquette Boys Varsity Hockey team will be home this weekend going up against the Saline Hornets starting at 7:00pm.

The Redettes will be coming off of a season opening loss, 55-46 against Escanaba on Tuesday. You can find tonight’s game broadcast live on GTO 97.5. Luke Ghiardi will be on air to bring you the Pre-Game Show starting around 5:00pm. Luke will talk about Tuesday’s game and what we can expect to see in the tournament this weekend. The Redmen took on the Rochester Hills Stoney Creek Cougars today.

While the Redettes are traveling, the Redmen Varsity Hockey Team is staying in Marquette to face-off against the Saline Hornets at 7:00pm. John Thomsen and Joe Gaffney will be broadcasting live right here on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 & 99.9. At 6:30pm, John and Joe host a Pre-Game Show to discus Tuesday’s 6-1 win against Escanaba. Once the game has begun they will be giving you live play-by-play coverage of the hockey match. You can listen in on 105.1 & 99.9 or stream live on foxsportsmarquette.com.

Tomorrow brings more match-ups for Marquette sports. The Redette Varsity Basketball team will be continuing out their tournament going against an opponent that will be determined after the outcome of tonight’s game.
