A five-minute major penalty on Marquette was the final nail in the coffin in this game. The Trojans put up one more goal for a 4-0 victory over the Redmen. In many ways the Redmen outplayed the Trojans, but Trenton goalie Joey Cormier did not give anything away in his a shut-out performance.

In spite of the loss, the Redmen had a terrific run this year. They finish the season at 21-5-3.
