Gladestone Braves came out hot with 4 triples in the 1st quarter of actions. Marquette Redettes are down at the end of the quarter 17 – 12 to the Gladestone Braves. Redettes have few turnover to cost the Redettes some early scores.
Marquette Redettes had a slow start of the quarters going without field goal for 1st few minutes of actions. The 2nd quarter was defense battle with little of scoring. Each basketball have been tough to come by. At end of the 1st half of actions Marquette Redettes are trailing 21 – 16 Gladestone Braves.
The Redettes started slow with Braves hit couple of 3 point shot. Then Marquette Redettes had a 6-0 run to cut into the lead. The Braves are hold on to the slime lead though 3 quarter of actions 32-28 over Redettes.
Marquette Redettes battle all the way back to tie the game. Marie Millado hit two free throw to tie the game with 10 seconds left. They’re head to overtime.
Marquette Redettes defeated Gladestone Braves in overtime with 47-44. There were great free throw on both sides of the ball to keep the game close.
The Marquette Redettes will be back in actions on Monday January 27, 2020 vs Sault Ste Marie Blue Devils at 7 pm on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1/99.9.
