Marquette Redettes Came Up Short against Westwood Patriots 53-49.

Marquette, MI– February 6, 2020–Marquette Redettes Varsity Basketball came up short against Westwood Patriots 53-49 on 103 WFXD Big Game of The Week.

Marquette Redettes started slow to get thing going against Westwood Patriots. While the Patriots pulling away early in the 1st period. Marquette Redettes end the quarter strong to cut into the lead. Marquette Redettes down 15-13 to Westwood Patriots.

Marquette Redettes had a exciting 2nd quarter of actions with Redettes making a come back to tie the game with Patriots. Marquette Redettes Maria Millado had 11 point though 2 quarter of actions. Marquette Redettes down 28-26 to Westwood Patriots at the end 2nd quarter. Marquette Redettes was 8 for 8 on the free throw line to help to keep the game close.

Marquette Redettes had trouble with costly turnovers in the 3rd period. Westwood Patriots started to pull away with nice shooting and good defense but Marquette Redettes are staying strong to stay in the game. Westwood Patriots leads 42-37 over Marquette Redettes at the end of the 3rd period.

Aspen Michelin had 8 point this quarter to keep Marquette Redettes in the game. Marquette Redettes came up short against Westwood Patriots. Patriots had to many weapons and some key stops at the end of the game. Marquette Redettes was perfect on the Free throw line going 18 for 18 to help keep the game close. The score of the game was 53-49 Westwood Patriots over Marquette Redettes.

The Redettes will be back in action on February 10, 2020 in Houghton to take on the Gremlins on Fox Sports 99.9/105.1 at 7:00 PM.
