Marquette, MI – January 21, 2020 – It is an extremely busy night for our Marquette Sports announcers with three different games going on tonight! We’ll be broadcasting all three games tonight so you can stay up to date on the sports action whether it’s basketball or hockey!
At 7:00pm the Marquette Redmen take the ice at Lakeview Arena to host the Kingsford Flivvers. Marquette has already played the Flivvers once, facing them during an away game and picking up the win 3-1. Catch tonight’s rematch game on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 & 99.9 with John Thomsen and Joe Gaffney. The guys will have a Pre-Game Show going at 6:30pm to review the season so far for the Redmen.
Also starting at 7:00pm, the Marquette Redmen Boys Basketball Team will host the Ishpeming Hematites. Listen in live from Marquette Senior High School on GTO 97.5 to catch the varsity basketball action! Jacob Ogea will start things off with a Pre-Game Show around 6:30pm to recap last week’s win over the Menominee Maroons. This game will also be broadcast on WRUP 98.3, home the Ishpeming Hematites.
The third game of the night starts at 7:15pm as the Marquette Redettes Basketball Team faces the Gladstone Braves in Delta County tonight. You can catch the girls varsity basketball game on 103.3 WFXD as Big Game of the Week! Luke Ghiardi will be on with you to bring you the recap on last week’s win over Calumet and his thoughts on what will go down in tonight’s game.

The Marquette Redmen Hockey Team will play next on Friday, January 24th. The Redmen will head down state to face Grosse Point South at 6:00pm on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 & 99.9.
The Boys Basketball team will also be taking a trip down state to face Traverse City Central on Friday, January 24th. Listen in at GTO 97.5 around 7:00pm for the full game broadcast.
Off until next week, the Redettes will return to the court on Monday, January 27th to host the Sault Ste Marie Blue Devils. Listen to the game at 7:00pm on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 & 99.9
