Marquette High School Volleyball Mike Morgan And Red Wings

Marquette, MI – 10/11/17 – Marquette Senior High School Head Volleyball Coach Mike Morgan stopped by this morning to talk about his teams recent sweet at the NMU Invitational. The Redettes are steam rolling into districts in the final 2 weeks. The Redettes will host the Great Northern Conference Invitational this weekend in Marquette. Coach expressed his determination moving forward and also mentioned that the team is really coming together as a unit.
The Detroit Red Wings fell to the Dallas Stars in Dallas last night 4-2 for their first loss of the season. Stars John Klingberg and Tyler Seguin scored first period goals and the Wings never recovered. Stars goalie Ben Bishop made 23 saves, in two starts Bishop has only allowed two goals in 103:58 minutes. Red Wings goalie Peter Mrazek finished with 29 saves. The Red Wings next game will come on Thursday against the Coyotes in Arizona.
The Detroit Pistons fell to the Toronto Raptors last night 116-94. The Raptors never trailed in the game and were led by former Indiana Pacer CJ Miles who had 19 points. Pistons back-up Ish Smith led the Pistons in scoring with 22 points off the bench. The Pistons are now 2-2 in the preseason and will take on the Milwaukee Bucks in Wisconsin on Friday.
