Marquette, MI – 10/13/17 – Marquette County Youth Football Commissioner Pat Kaski stopped by this morning to talk about upcoming events for the league. This Saturday you can catch all of the youth football players in action at the Superior Dome in Marquette starting at 8 am and going all day. Admission is free and there is also a bake sale throughout the day. The concessions stands will be open. Be sure to stop by the Superior Dome and support Marquette County Youth Football.
Pete Kolbus stopped in this morning to talk about the big game between Marquette and Negaunee for the Diamond Jubilee. The rivalry is currently the longest active in the state of Michigan dating back to the 1800’s. Both teams are coming off of big wins, Negaunee defeated Manistique 42-8 while Marquette routed Lakeland Union 55-6. This game has the playoffs on the line, whoever loses is out.
