Marquette, MI – January 3, 2018 – The Marquette Redmen were supposed to host the Gladstone Braves tonight at Marquette Senior High School, however, due to inclement weather, the game has been cancelled. With a heavy freezing winter spray and regular winter storm advisory warning in effect for the Marquette area, the team will not be hitting the court tonight.
There is also a cancellation for Thursday’s game against Kingsford as well. After a tragic loss of two Kingsford students, Kingsford High School has cancelled tomorrow’s Boys Basketball game. Marquette will not be traveling tomorrow as Thursday is the funeral date for one of the former Kingsford students, with the second funeral happening Friday. Everyone from Fox Sports Marquette wishes Kingsford area families and students the best during the worst of times.

The Boys are scheduled to return to the court on Friday, December 12th. The team will be traveling to Menominee for a 7:20 pm game hosted by the Maroons. Join Jacob Ogea on GTO 95.7 for all of the Redmen basketball action next Friday!
