The 2018 “Catch the Vision” Ice Under Cover Hockey Bash – This Saturday at Lions Field Ice Rink
- Updated: March 20, 2018
Marquette, MI – March 20, 2018 – Looking for something fun to do with your friends? We’re in Hockeyville, so why not play some hockey?
Joins us at Lions Field Ice Rink this Saturday for the 2018 “Catch the Vision” Ice Under Cover Hockey Bash. Fox Sports Marquette has teamed up with Marquette Charter Township to bring you another Ice Under Cover event. This series of fundraisers raise money to erect a roof over the Lions Field Ice Rink. With a roof over the rink, it’ll keep people playing more and shoveling less. The longevity of the ice will also improve by keeping the sunlight off the rink!
Entry fee is only $20 per team, with up to 4 people on each time. The 3-on-3 boot hockey event start at noon at the park and run until a winner is “crowd”. The first and second place team will receive trophies for competing and a special MVP award will be provided as well.
You can pay at the township hall during business hours on Commerce Drive. For more information contact Randy at (906) 228-6220.
Not looking to play? Come out and support this local event and watch the teams slip around on the ice in boots! There will be snacks and fun on the ice to keep you entertained.
Special thanks to our current sponsors: Super One Foods, Marquette Charter Township, and Fuller’s Outdoor Maintenance.
