Marquette, MI – March 20, 2018 – Don’t miss this Friday’s Marquette Area Public Schools Education Foundation Community Classic Basketball Tournament! MAPS is putting on the tournament to raise scholarship money for participating schools and the Marquette Area Public Schools graduating seniors!
Team registration has closed, but you can still come spectate and cheer on the teams. The tournament includes grades 3 through 12 on Friday, March 23rd. Swing by Marquette Senior High School and the community gymnasiums to catch the games and support your local students.
Scholarship prizes will be gained through a point system. Points will be earned for wins in each bracket. The community with the most points in the boys’ and/or girls’ brackets will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship for the senior of their choosing.
