Marquette, MI – The Detroit Tigers are off to a hot start at 6-2 on the season. On Wednesday the Tigers completed game number two of a three game series, with a victory 5-3. The Tigers were led by outfielder Andrew Romine who had a huge grand slam in the fourth inning and the bullpen finished the job to give the Tigers a victory. Today’s game will start at 1:10 pm with the Tigers sending Jordan Zimmermann to the hill to face Phil Hughes.

The Detroit Pistons season concluded last night with a 113-109 loss to the Orlando Magic. The Magic were led by Aaron Gordan who had 32 points and 12 rebounds followed by Nikola Vucevic who added a double-double. The Pistons struggled as Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Ish Smith were the lone leading scores, both with 20. The Pistons now look to the NBA Lottery in the coming weeks.
