Tigers Fall To Twins, Lions New Look and Ben Smith

Marquette, MI – The Detroit Tigers played their finale against the Minnesota Twins on Thursday afternoon falling 11-5. Twins Max Kepler, Miguel Sano and Robbie Grossman all homered for Minnesota while Tigers Miguel Cabrera added his first homer of the year. Tigers Pitcher Jordan Zimmermann struggled allowing 5 walks a career high and five runs in 4 2/3 innings of work. The Tigers then went to the bullpen where Anibal Sanchez gave up 6 more runs in the loss. The Tigers begin a three game series today in Cleveland against the Indians.

The Detroit Lions unveiled their new jerseys for the 2017-2018 season last night. Ford Field drew a crowed of over 3,000 people for the event. The Lions will have four different jerseys including an all gray color rush uniform. The NFL season schedules will be out within the next week for the upcoming season.
