Marquette, MI – 12/14/17 – The Marquette Redmen Hockey team will welcome in the Hancock Bulldogs tonight at Lakeview Arena with the game-time being at 7 pm. The Redmen come into the game off a big overtime 3-2 victory over Warren de Lasalle last Saturday. Marquette is now ranked as the #8 team in the state of Michigan in division two. The Bulldogs come in fresh off a 6-4 victory over Birmingham Brother Rice this past weekend. The Bulldogs are currently ranked #1 in division three. The pre-game will begin at 6:30 pm on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 and 99.9 with John Thomsen, Joe Gaffney and Ryan Ranguette.

The Detroit Tigers made their first move last night at the Decemeber Winter Meetings for MLB by trading veteran 4-time Gold Glove second baseman Ian Kinsler to the Los Angeles Angels for two prospects. The prospects are pitcher Wilkel Hernandez and outfielder Troy Montgomery. Hernandez is 18 years old and was ranked as the #24 prospect in the Angels organization. Montgomery is 23 years old and was ranked as the #24 prospect in the organization. Kinsler is due 11 million dollars this season.

The Detroit Red Wings fell to the Boston Bruins in overtime 3-2 on a goal from Bruins Brad Marchand with 35 seconds left in overtime. The Red Wings got goals from Dylan Larkin and Thomas Tatar in the contest. The Red Wings return to action on Friday when they host the Toronto Maple Leafs.
