Red Wings Pick Up Another Win and Pistons Win At Home
- Updated: December 7, 2016
Marquette, MI – The Detroit Red Wings have been on a roll lately picking up at least one point in their past seven games. The Red Wings traveled to Winnipeg last night to take on the Jets and came home on a happy note once again. The Red wings were down 3-1 after the first period but fought back to tie the game in the third period and take the game into overtime. The overtime session came and went setting up for the Wings and Jets shootout. The shootout was ended on the stick of Red Wings Captain Henrik Zetterberg as he put the puck past Hellebuyck and the Wings came out with a 4-3 victory and two more points added to the standings. The Red Wings return home to face the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday.
The Detroit Pistons were at the Palace of Auburn Hills taking on a division opponent last night in the Chicago Bulls. The Pistons came out on top with a 102-91 victory. The Pistons were led by Tobias Harris who led Detroit with 22 points, Andre Drummond also dropped 15 points and added 10 rebounds for his double-double on the night. Jimmy Butler added 32 for Chicago in the loss. The Pistons head home to take on the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday.
