Pistons Fall To Hornets and Thursday Night Football
- Updated: December 8, 2016
Marquette, MI – The Detroit Pistons fell short of a victory last night as the Charlotte Hornets downed the Pistons 87-77. Charlotte’s Kemba Walker scored 14 of his 25 points in the fourth quarter leading the way for the Hornets. Pistons big man Andre Drummond put together the best game of his season dropping 26 points and adding 20 rebounds. Detroit shot 38 percent from the field and was on 5-8 at the free throw line. The Pistons also turned the ball over 13 times. The Pistons now travel to Minnesota to take on the Timberwolves Friday night.
Thursday Night Football kicks off tonight with an intriguing match up between the Oakland Raiders and the Kansas City Chiefs. The Raiders are coming into the game as hot as can be behind quarterback Derek Carr, the Raiders are 10-2 on the season. The Chiefs have also put together a good season with a record of 9-3 and could possible tie the AFC West tonight with a victory. The first game between these teams earlier in the year ended up being a 16 point victory for the Chiefs. Game time is at 8:25 tonight.
