Pistons Can’t Stop Thomas, Red Wings Begin and Redettes

Marquette, MI – The Detroit Pistons had a rough game last night losing the the Boston Celtics 113-109. Boston’s Isiah Thomas had a spectacular game dropping 41 points and going 15-15 from the free throw line. Thomas, has scored at least 20 points or more in the last 32 games. The Pistons will return home for a Wednesday match-up with the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Detroit Red Wings begin their second half of the NHL season tonight when they host the New Jersey Devils. The Red Wings are in playoff fighting mode with a 20-20-9 record while the Devils come in at 20-21-9. The Red Wings are 13-3-2 in their last 18 games against the New Jersey Devils. Puck drop will be at 7:30 at Joe Louis Arena.

The Marquette Redettes travel to Escanaba tonight as they get set to take on the Escanaba Eskymos at 7:15 pm. The Redettes come into the game at 12-1 on the season and are riding a 9 game win streak.
