
Marquette, MI – The Detroit Pistons season will come to an end very soon if they keep playing the way they did last night. The Pistons blew a 20 point lead to lose 105-102 to the Toronto Raptors. The Raptors welcomed back Kyle Lowry who ended up being the star of the game with 27 points and 10 assists. The Pistons were led by Ish Smith and Tobias Harris who each added 16 points. The Pistons are three games back of the last spot in the east with four games to play. The Pistons will visit Houston on Friday to take on James Harden and the Rockets.
The Detroit Tigers will be back in action today at 2:10 pm in the series finale against the Chicago White Sox. The Tigers will send Matt Boyd to the bump to face James Shields of Chicago. The Tigers won the first game of the series on opening day 6-3. The Tigers will head home to being a three game series against the Boston Red Sox after today.
The Negaunee Miners Softball and Baseball coaches stopped in this morning to talk about their teams and what they were looking forward to this season. Tomorrow both teams will hold a fundraising dinner at the Negaunee Elks Club from 4-9 pm. Admission is $7 a person or $25 for a family. Both teams season will kick off next week.
