
Marquette, MI – 6/21/17 – The Charlotte Hornets acquired NBA superstar Dwight Howard from the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday afternoon. The Horents sent Marco Belinelli and Mason Plumlee to Atlanta for Howard and the 31st pick in this years draft. Dwight Howard signed a three year 70-million dollar contract last summer.
The Los Angeles Lakers and the Brooklyn Nets made a big swap on Tuesday. The Lakers sent former number two overall pick D’angelo Russell to the Nets for Brook Lopez and the number 27 pick in this years NBA Draft. The Lakers will now possess the number 2,27 and 28 picks in this years first round. Lakers Timofey Mozgof was also included in the deal and is now a Brooklyn Net.
The Cleveland Cavaliers are rumored to be going after two current NBA Superstars in Jimmy Butler from the Chicago Bulls and Paul George from the Indiana Pacers.
