Gwinn, Michigan 10/8/2020 – The first home game of the season for the foxsportsmarquette.com live stream of the GHS football season was Thursday night at McCormick Field in Gwinn. The Gwinn Modeltowners took on the Norway Nights, and Norway won the contest 22 to 0.
Gwinn was led defensively by #65 Hank Menard, #76 Austin Hutchens, and #23 Dominick Brabbs. Menard came away with an interception from the defensive tackle position, and was able get about 12 yards on the return. Both Menard and Hutchens had multiple tackles for losses, and the Knights had a struggle running up the middle against the Modeltowners. None the less, the Knights were still able to put points on the board offensively and defensively, and come away with the victory. The varsity squads come to battle on Friday 10/9/2020 in Norway at 7pm with the Elder Agency Pregame show starting at 6:30pm only on foxsportsmarquette.com.
