Ishpeming, Michigan 10/1/2020 – Taking to the Thursday night football action was the JV Ishpeming Hematites versus the JV Gwinn Modeltowners in Ishpeming. It was cold and drizzly, the perfect kind of night to be on the field. The Ishpeming defensive kept Gwinn scoreless throughout the entire game. The Gwinn defensive, much like the GHS varsity squad, was led by their defensive line. These boys are big, fast, and hungry. Once Gwinn makes the adjustments needed, they will be able to get in the right direction. The Gwinn JV squad takes on the Norway Nights JV squad next Thursday, and the Varsity squads match up in Norway on Friday night 10/9/2020.
