Norway, Michigan– 01/08/16– The ModelTowner Boys basketball took on the Norway Knights this Friday night in Norway. It was another fast paced, action-packed game. Mike James brought you all of the in-game action on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 and 99.9. The game was also streamed LIVE at GoToGwinn.com.The first half of the game started out pretty good for our ModelTowners. It looked like the ModelTowners were going to keep up with the Knights. The Knights got the first two points of the game. Austin Forbes and Theo Reddlan scored the majority of the points for Gwinn in the first quarter. 14-22 was the score at the end of the first quarter with the Knights leading the ModelTowners. The second quarter moved a little more quickly and the ModelTowners kept close on the Knights tail. Carter Ghiringhelli got one up and in for the first score of the second quarter by the ModelTowners. 26-39 was the final score at halftime.
The second half of the game, the Knights took charge. It showed that our ModelTowners started to get a little tired after a while. Austin Forbes was back on track for the ModelTowners as he got one up and in during third quarter. Tucker Taylor wound up sitting out for the night after being fouled out with 2 points and 2 rebounds. 31-53 was the score at the end of the third. Bryce Plante of the Knights put up an eighteen footer and it was good. 36-59 was the final score of the game with the ModelTowners taking defeat from the Norway Knights.
