Houghton, Michigan– 01/13/16– The Gwinn Boys basketball traveled to Houghton today to take on the Gremlins. Mike James brought you all of the action on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 and 99.9. The game was also streamed LIVE at GoToGwinn.com.
The Game went by pretty quickly. The first quarter ended with a score of 10-12 with the Gremlins in the lead. Our ModelTowner Jordan Stein made a nice three pointer in the first quarter. Second quarter action slowed down a little. Jordan Stein made another long three pointer for the ModelTowners and another shot up was good for Gwinn by Tucker Taylor. 15-21 was the score at halftime with the Houghton Gremlins taking the lead.
The second half of the game slowed down a little more for the ModelTowners. Austin Forbes of the Modeltowners made a long three pointer in the third quarter. 26-34 with the Gremlins in the lead was the score at the end of three. Gwinn did not manage to score in the fourth quarter. The final score of the game was 26-50 with the ModelTowners taking defeat against the Gremlins.
