Marquette, MI – June 21, 2017 – The best high school football players will take the field on Saturday at the Superior Dome in Marquette for the 10th annual U.P. Football All-Star Game.
This year a new, fun wrinkle was added. The first 9 games the teams were divided geographically. The first 7 years the game pitted East U.P. high school players vs West U.P. high school players while the last 2 years have pitted North U.P. high school players vs South U.P. high school players. This year, however, a fantasy draft was held. The red and black teams took turns picking from the full pool available players. This year, some kids from the same school will be playing on opposite teams.
It is going to once again be a great day of high school football action. Kickoff is set for 1 pm at the Superior Dome. Our sister stations 103.3 WFXD and 92.7 WRUP will be bringing you all the action live with pregame beginning at noon.
