Marquette, MI- June 22nd, 2017- It was a gorgeous morning for the guys, Ryan Ranguette and Luke Ghiardi, at the Marquette Golf Club. They had a great show with interviews and live guests from the course. They also dove into local sports, and some Tigers baseball.
In the first quarter the guys discussed the local U.P. All Star Games. The first one being the softball game. They wanted to highlight the score and stars of the game. Second, they previewed the All Star football game. They gave you the schedule of events that happened or are going to happen this week. They gave you an idea of what happened at the skills competition yesterday, telling you who the winner of each event was. Next they told you the time of the game and that you can hear it live on 103 FXD and 92.7 WRUP and streaming live on both websites.
The second quarter, the guys were joined by Andrew Lorinser. He is the public relations manager for Beacon House. The three chatted about all the hard work that goes into planning the Celebrity Golf Classic and just how much these celebrities care about the event. Andrew also told you all about Beacon House and what they do for their residents and what their future plans are for their continued success.
The third quarter had two interviews, one from Symetra Tour golfer Lindsey Weaver and the stations very own Bill Tibor. Lindsey talked about her season on the Symetra Tour as she currently sits in 12th place. She discussed her love for the Sweetgrass golf course, the event, and how she loves playing there. Bill Tibor joined both Ryan and Luke on set from the Marquette Golf Club to have a little fun. The three gentlemen discussed Bill’s experience at this event in years passed and how they think he can win it this year.
The final quarter was set for Tigers baseball. Ryan and Luke talked about the bad stretch the Tigers are currently on and what has been their issues. The two really let loose telling you that think the window has closed on this team and their chances and making a play off run. They finished by giving their thoughts on what they think the Tigers should do and the direction the team should go in.
