The Miners head to Hancock and are eager to snap their losing streak. Last week, starting quarterback Kyle Waterman exited early in the third quarter due to injury, prompting Owen Cardinal to step in for the remainder of the game. The team has not provided an update on Waterman’s status, so fans will have to wait to see who takes the field. Meanwhile, the Bulldogs are still searching for their first win of the season. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., with coverage on Sunny 101.9.
Marquette is celebrating homecoming this week as they prepare to host Sault Ste. Marie. The Sentinels are glad to be back on their home field after two lengthy downstate trips. Coming off a victory against Saginaw United, they hope to build on that momentum. The homecoming parade kicks off at 5:30 p.m., followed by the game.
