Petoskey, Michigan – December 9th, 2016 – The Marquette Redmen were in the lead during the first quarter of action from Petoskey with Redmen basketball and the Big Game of the Week on 103-FXD. Our pregame show is brought to you by Honor Credit Union. Jacob Ogea had the call from Petoskey, Michigan on 103-FXD. First score by Garrot Thinkbinder had the Redmen in the lead to kick off the game. The Petoskey Northmen score,  and they turned the tables and lead the Redmen 7-3 in the first quarter. After that, the Northmen maintained a steady lead over the Marquette Redmen during the remainder of the game.

The first quarter closes with the Petoskey Northmen in the lead over the Marquette Redmen 14-6; this was the largest lead in the game during the entire first quarter of action.

Second quarter begins from Petoskey High School and the scoreboard had the Northmen in the lead over the Marquette Redmen 25-20; 5 point game for the Northmen. The second quarter comes to a close with the Northmen in the lead over the Redmen, 33-28.

The scoreboard was 33-28 in favor of the Northmen early in the third quarter from Petoskey. The Northmen gave the Redmen a battle that won’t soon be forgotten. At the end of the third quarter the Petoskey Northmen maintained their healthy lead over the Redmen, 48-36 on 103-FXD.

The Petoskey Northmen were within reach of a victory in the fourth quarter. With 1:19 left to go in the game the Northmen lead the Redmen 57-46. The buzzer sounds and the Petoskey Northmen defeat the Marquette Redmen 63-47 during the Big Game of the Week on 103-FXD.
