Modeltowner Boys Basketball (27) VS Iron Mountain Mountaineers (69) on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 and 99.9 12/11/15

Gwinn, Michigan– 12/11/15– The Gwinn ModelTowner Boys basketball took on the Iron Mountain Mountaineers in their home turf this Friday night. It was a fast paced game that kept everyone on the edge of their seats. Both teams did a great job. Mike James brought you all of the action on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 and 99.9.
The first half of the game, the two teams were neck in neck. There was a lot of great blocking from each team and it got the crowd cheering a couple of times. The first quarter ended with a score of 8-16 with the ModelTowners trailing the Mountaineers and the second quarter ended with a score of 16-33 at half time with the Mountaineers still leading the ModelTowners.
The second half of the game was also fast paced. The third quarter started off with a nice block from Theo Reddlan of the Gwinn ModelTowners. It ended with a score of 22-52 with the ModelTowner guys trailing the Mountaineers. The final score of the evening was 27-69 as the Mountaineers took the win. The ModelTowners played a great game and they will use this defeat to turn around the scores in the next ModelTowner basketball game!
