Marquette, MI – March 23rd, 2026 – This week we had a great conversation with Northern Michigan Women’s Basketball coach Casey Thousand. During our first segment, we took an in-depth look at this past season, discussing several players and the important roles they played throughout the year. Recruiting was another big topic we touched on, along with what the offseason looks like and what players are currently working on. We also wrapped up the segment by talking about some of her favorite moments from the season.
During our second segment, we got into her playing and coaching background, how it all got started, and what basketball means to her. It was great learning about her journey to Marquette and the success she has helped bring to the Wildcats program.

Next week, we’ll be joined by Marquette baseball coach Mark Pantti, whose team recently started its season and currently sits at 5-3 with three games coming up this week. We’ll hear about what the team did during the harsh winter months and take an in-depth look at this year’s squad.
