Marquette, MI – March 2nd, 2026 – This week, Mike Koziara, owner of Marquette Adventures LLC, was kind enough to join us on the show. Koziara’s journey began when friends started asking him to take them out fishing. What began as a simple favor soon turned into something much bigger. In 2017, he officially launched Marquette Adventures LLC, and by 2021 he had discovered his true passion and made the leap to running the business full time.
During our conversation, we talked with Mike about the wide range of services he offers, including kayak rentals, guided ice fishing trips on Lake Superior, and hiking excursions. It was fascinating to learn about his day-to-day operations and how his work shifts with each season. Tyler and I also learned a ton about fishing, and the impressive technology he uses to help clients have a successful trip.
