Marquette, MIJuly 7, 2020 – The Detroit Tigers’ 2020 60-game schedule was released yesterday by the MLB. The schedule has been regionalized to help limit travel for the teams. This will lead to the Tigers not only not playing every team in the league, but playing in many more interleague games than usual.

The Tigers will take on the Cincinnati Reds in 8 of their first 12 games, with their first game of the season being against the Reds on July 21. The first 15 of the Tigers’ 19 games are all interleague contests, with series against Cincinnati, St. Louis and Pittsburgh.

The Tigers’ home opener comes against Kansas City on July 27, and the final game of the regular season will be in Kansas City September 27th.

How many games will the Tigers win in this shortened season?
