Marquette, MI – November 4, 2019 – Round 1 of the MHSAA football playoffs saw some surprises, and some not-so-much surprises. The Ishpeming Hematites handled their business and will take on a very good Lake Linden team in a Week 2 rematch. Escanaba, Marquette, Negaunee, and Westwood all got bounced. And Sault Ste Marie is hosting a district championship. mark Evans joined Luke and Tyler on the Sports Drive to break it all down.
The Northern Michigan Wildcats hockey team is 6-1-1 after yet another sweep on their home ice this past weekend, this time against Alabama Huntsville. The ‘Cats rank 16th in the country. Luke and Tyler talk the hot start, the goalie situation, and a slight lookahead to a huge series with St. Cloud at the Berry this weekend.
