Marquette, MI – October 31, 2019 – It was a spooky Sports Drive today! If you weren’t all set for the high school football playoffs before today’s show, you certainly are now.
First, Tyler and Luke looked at all the matchups and districts for the U.P. teams. Then, in the 2nd hour, Luke caught up with Westwood head coach Scoot Syrjala. Coach Syrjala talked about finishing 7-2 and what it means to the West Ishpeming community for Westwood to host their first playoff game in program history.
Luke then was joined by Jason Hutton of Fox 17 in Grand Rapids. Luke and Jason discussed the teams from the Grand Rapids area that could potentially meet up with U.P. teams. Jason also broke down what makes Muskegon so good, and what will give Marquette trouble on Saturday.
