Marquette, MI – The Cleveland Indians pitched their fourth shutout in nine games to take a one game to nothing series lead in the World Series. Indians pitcher Corey Kluber was strong for seven innings and catcher Roberto Perez had two homers bringing in four RBI in the contest. The World Series continues tonight in Cleveland. Due to rain moving into the area, the game has been moved up one hour for a starting time of 7:08 pm. The Indians will send Trevor Bauer to the mound to face Cubs ace Jake Arrieta.

The Detroit Red Wings started their season at 0-2, since then they have dominated both offensively and defensively winning five straight games. Dylan Larkin scored two goals in the game while Andreas Athanasiou and Thomas Vanek both added goals leading the Red Wings to a 4-2 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes. Next up the Wings will hit the road to St.Louis to take on the Blues on Thursday.

Joey Enright of the Marquette Mutineers stopped by to bring us up to date on the new hockey team in Marquette. They have a full roster and look to add more to get to 30. Joey announced that they will be starting games in November and game admission will be $5 and free for anyone under 10.
