The Marquette Redmen Varsity Hockey Team Travels to Traverse City For Two-Day North/South Showcase

Marquette, MI  –  January 10, 2019  –  The Marquette Redmen Hockey Team is on the road to Traverse City this afternoon for the two-day North/South Showcase! Our boys will be in the Lower Peninsula for two days to battle two different teams on the ice.

The Marquette Redmen start things off with an 8:00pm game against the Grand Haven Buccaneers. John Thomsen, voice of Marquette Hockey, will be down state with the team to bring you all of the live play-by-play action. John will start things off with a 7:30pm Pre-game Show to introduce the opponents and talk hockey! The full game broadcast on Fox Sports Marquette 1051 & 99.9 will start with the 8:00pm puck drop. Tomorrow the boys get back on the ice to face the Alpena Wildcats for a 11:30am game. John will be back on at 11a to recap tonight’s game and introduce listeners to the Alpena team. Tune in once again at Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 & 99.9, Home of the Marquette Redmen & Redettes, to catch the varsity hockey game. Friday’s game will also be featured as Big Game of the Week on 103.3 WFXD so you can tune in there or stream on wfxd.com!

The boys be back in Marquette to host the Hancock Bulldogs for their next game on Tuesday, January 15th. Catch the game from Lakeview Arena or live on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 & 99.9 at 7:00pm.
