Marquette, MI – January 25, 2019 – The Marquette Redmen Varsity Hockey Team is on the road this afternoon, traveling to the SOO for the weekend long Sault Ste. Marie Show Case! The boys will participate in this two-day hockey showcase starting with tonight’s game against the Port Huron Northern Huskies.
John Thomsen and Joe Gaffney will be on-air to bring you all of the weekend’s varsity hockey action. The guys will start things off with a 5:30pm Pre-Game Show on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 & 99.9! John will recap Tuesday’s win over the Kingsford Flivvers, 4-0 before talking more about how the SOO Showcase will work. The Marquette Redmen and the Port Huron Northern Huskies will take the ice around 6:00pm to play game one of the showcase! Also playing tonight, the Marquette Redettes basketball team is on the road to face the Menominee Maroons. The girls, currently on an 8 game winning streak play tonight at 7:30pm on GTO 97.5.
