Marquette, MI  –  January 17, 2019  –  With Tuesday’s sudden cancellation, the Marquette Redmen varsity hockey team will finally get back out on the ice tonight to host the Escanaba Eskymos. Coming off an 8 game winning streak and sitting 10-3-2 overall in the season, your Marquette Redmen will be looking to pick up win number 11 tonight on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 & 99.9.

Join voice of Marquette Hockey, John Thomsen on air for a 6:30pm Pre-Game Show. John will recap the North/South Showcase where the Redmen came away with two more wins, 7-3 over Grand Haven and 1-0 over Alpena. John will also take the time to re-introduce tonight’s opponents. The Marquette Redmen played the Eskymos earlier this season, coming away with a 5-2 win over Escanaba. Tune in to catch the Pre-Game Show and listen in for the full game broadcast that starts with a 7:00pm puck drop at Lakeview Arena. The varsity hockey team is back Tuesday, January 22nd for another home game, hosting the Kingsford Flivvers. The Redmen have also already played the Flivvers this season, winning that game 5-4 in Kingsford. Tune in Tuesday for the 6:30pm Pre-game Show and 7:00pm sports broadcast.
