The Redmen dominated throughout the game.Marquette, MI – March 2, 2021 – The home of the Braves belonged to the Marquette Redmen tonight as Marquette defeated Gladstone 59-35 improving to 6-2 on the season. We had the full game broadcast on our sister station, 103 FXD as Big Game of the Week with Jacob Ogea!
The Redmen had 3 players in double figures as Lincoln Sager led the way with 17, Ty Lotterman had 16 & Cam Karp had 12. Cam Ballard led the way for the Braves with 17. Marquette was able to turn takeaways into points and led throughout the game. The Redmen led 17-11 at the end of the 1st Quarter.
The Redmen outscored the Braves 16-9 to take a 33-20 lead at halftime. Marquette continued pushing ahead of Gladstone, scoring an additional 16 points to 11, ending the 3rd Quarter 49-31. Through the final quarter of the game, the Marquette Redmen put up 10 more points with the Braves clearing 4 to end the game 59-35 in favor of the Redmen.
The Marquette Redmen boys basketball team will host the Blue Devils of Sault Ste. Marie on Thursday night at MSHS on Good Time Olides 97.5 & gto.fm Coverage will begin around 6:30pm with the play-by-play action starting around 7:00pm.
