The Marquette Redmen and Traverse City St. Francis Gladiators Face Off For Game One of Football Season

Marquette, MI – August 22, 2018 – We’re just days away from the start of Redmen Football on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 & 99.9 The Marquette Redmen are hosting the Traverse City St. Francis Gladiators this Friday for the first game of the season.
Marquette Senior High School is going all out for game one inviting the community to come out for a 5:30pm tailgate party! The Pre-game events are completely free to the public and over food, music, activities, games and more. The school is also celebrating their student athletes and coaching staff with “Meet the Redmen & Redettes”. The evening will give the community a chance to meet their fall season athletes and coaches, plus interact with other MSHS Fans!
Following the tailgate party, Luke Ghiardi will get things started with a 6:30pm Pre-Game Show on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 and 99.9. Luke will introduce the 2018 varsity football team and recap last year’s MSHS football season. At 7:00pm, the Redmen and Gladiators will take the field for kick off. Tune in for the battle on Fox Sports Marquette for all of the play-by-play action or stream the game live from your smartphone. We will also be broadcasting on our sister station, 103.3 WFXD as “Big Game of the Week”.
The following Friday, Marquette will be heading down state to face off against Traverse City Central. The time has not bet set for the game as of yet, but you’ll be able to hear all of the sports action on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1, 99.9, and 103-FXD.
