Marquette, MI – August 17, 2018 – We’re just a week away from the start of Marquette Senior High School Football! Next Friday, the MSHS football teams take the field at home for their first games of the season and the 2018 Tailgate Party!
The Tailgate Party will kick off the evening at 5:30pm on the practice field. This FREE event will include music, food, activities, games and more. It’ll also be the night to “Meet the Redmen and Redettes”. You’ll get the chance to meet the MSHS fall sports athletes from each team as well as the coaching staff.
Following the tailgate party, the varsity football team will take the field for a 7pm kick off against Traverse City St. Francis. Last year Marquette faced the same school for their first game of the season, sadly coming away with a loss, 7-21. Join us at Marquette’s William R. Hart Stadium to cheer on our football players and wish them better luck this year!
Fox Sports Marquette will be broadcasting the varsity football game live on Fox Sports 105.1 & 99.9! You can also catch the game by streaming from foxsportsmarquette.com! The game will also be broadcasted on our sister station, 103.3 WFXD.
