1st quarter – In the first quarter the Marquette Redettes took their time on the offense and caused a lot of turnovers in the beginning of this game. A great play by Traverse City West gave them a foul and a 1-0 lead in the first 3 minutes after the free throw shot. Marquette later stole the ball back and had great defensive plays but the Titans continued their lead at 3-0. Marquette had a great passing play that gave them their first score of 2 points, slowly closing the Traverse City lead. Mcfee on the Redettes made it down the court in between the defense and tied the game at 4-4. At the end of the first quarter the Traverse City team continued to control the game at 9-6.

2nd quarter – Entering the 2nd quarter of Saturday’s game, the Redettes had some great passing plays and was closely following Traverse City at 11-9 after a 3 pointer. Later in the quarter the Titans started dominating the game with foul plays and driving the ball down the court still leading the game at 17-8.Marquette were playing with small plays and only had 2 points in the quarter when Traverse City scored again. The half ends for 23-10
3rd quarter – Marquette opened up the 2nd half of Saturday’s game with two successful free throw shots, starting to close the Titans lead of 23-12. A good hook shot by Mcfee for the Marquette offense kept the score going for Traverse City. Continuing in the quarter, the Titans were ahead by 14 points. The TC team gave a lot of pressure on Saturday and kept the ball on the inside. In the quarter the Marquette team kept struggling at 30-12 and had a difficult time breaking through the Traverse City Titans. The 3rd quarter ended at 30-14 for the Traverse City Titans

4th quarter – Entering the last quarter of the game, the Titans really brought the pressure opening with a 3 pointer growing the scoring deficit. With the time running down at 4 minutes left the Titans are leading a 33-17. A foul for Traverse City gave them another shot at the free throw line but they were unsuccessful with the extra points. Under 2 minutes left in the game the Marquette Redettes kept just missing their shots and couldn’t close the gap. The Traverse City continued to dominate and won the Saturday game at 39-19
