The Marquette Redettes Attend Spring Swing Softball Tournament This Weekend at NMU Superior Dome

Marquette, MI – April 10, 2019 – This weekend 18 varsity softball teams will meet at the NMU Superior Dome for the 17th Annual Spring Swing Tournament including Marquette Senior High School. This tournament is a sign that the season of spring sports is almost here!
During the softball season we will be broadcasting several of the Marquette Redettes softball games, starting with their season debut this weekend during the a tournament! First up, the girls will take the field to play against another Upper Peninsula team, the Westwood Patriots. The Redettes and Patriots will begin their game around 2:00pm on Friday.
Saturday, our Redettes will be back at the Dome for their second game of the tournament to face the Bonduel Bears! Saturday’s game is set for 11:30am. Both the Friday and Saturday games will be broadcast live on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 & 99.9. Join Luke Ghiardi on air Friday afternoon and Tyler Young Saturday Morning to catch both games. You can also stream the games live from your computer or smartphone at foxsportsmarquette.com! The guys will have a short Pre-game Show for you before each game starting at approximately 1:45pm and 11:30am respectively. The Redettes will also play a third game, facing Calumet Saturday evening at 5:30pm, though Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 & 99.9 will not be broadcasting that game, so drop in to the Dome to catch that one live!
Interested in dropping by and catching some games? You’ll have 32 different games to chose room, with softball games running from 12:30pm Friday through 8:30pm Saturday night!
