
First Period: Marquette struck first in this rematch of the two teams. Evan Kroll was able to get one past the Eskymo goaltender with the serve from Jack Sides putting the Redmen up 1-0. Only a couple of minutes later Rylan Ragusett would get his first goal of the season with the assist from Owen Riipi bringing the Redmen lead to 2-0.

Only a few minutes left in the period an Escanaba player would be sent to the penalty box giving the Redmen a power play opportunity. The Redmen, who are especially good on power play opportunities, cashed in when Evan Kroll got his second goal of the evening. The goal was assisted by Colin Nemacheck and Brayden Grange.

Second Period: The Redmen came out of the locker with with an one-man-advantage with time left on an Eskymo penalty, but were not able to turn it into another goal. As soon as it was full strength DeMattia was able to serve the puck to Ethan Phillips who buried it in net bringing the score to , 4-0. At 7:46 Theo Adams would put up another Redmen goal bringing the score to, 5-0. He’d add on one more at16:48 to finish out a real good period for the Redmen.

Third Period: The start of the period was relatively quiet to start out. The Redmen only two goals away from the eight goal mercy rule headed into the final period. Ansel Frost would bring the Redmen one goal closer to the mercy rule win with a nice snapper landing in the net. Finally they would reach the eighth and final goal when Jack Sides would send one home assisted by Adams and Kroll.
