Midland, MI – February 22, 2025 – The Marquette High School Hockey Sentinels hit the ice at the Midland Civic Ice Arena tonight for their first playoff matchup, battling against the Midland Dow Chargers. With an unpredictable season behind them and momentum from last week’s overtime thriller, fans knew anything could happen in this must-win game. And the Sentinels delivered. First Period
Both teams came out firing on all cylinders, but this game quickly became a goaltender’s duel. Neither side could break through, keeping the scoreboard locked at zero after the first 17 minutes of play.

As the final buzzer echoed through the arena, the Sentinels secured their 3-2 victory, officially advancing in the MHSAA playoffs.
